Posted: March 16, 2013 in Live Life Now

hey followers! it’s been awhile. i miss blogging and i miss you. thanks for your patience! this blog is under construction. i’m wrestling between major changes or an entire new blog. hopefully we can stick with just the major changes and keep it simple. but i’ll let you know. stay tuned. and thanks again!

Wow. So, WordPress sends me a 2012 report. They show me my most popular posts, my followers, my stats, my visits, and other intriguing information. And they show me this as well.

I. Have. Changed.

So much. I can’t even begin to say the work that God has done to this heart. To this Jesus Girl. A smile sits on my face and a song in my heart. ‘Cuz this Jesus Girl loves Jesus even more today then she did a year ago. Praise, Jesus. For change.

A blessed, 2013 to every one of my writing friends! Those I’ve met, and those I haven’t. You are loved.

Ephesians 6:10-17

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Notice the armor of God is for the front of us? We are to stand; to not back down from darkness and evil but to face forward, stand strong, and advance. Don’t even turn your back. The armor is in front of you. You got the full armor of God? Stand your ground and go forward and fight.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

I don’t know what to say. Sometimes all you can do is hold onto the promises. And believe that they are true. Because they are.

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” – Isaiah 54:10

Trust in the midst of turmoil; love in the midst of hate; compassion in the midst of judgment; peace in the midst of confusion. Try to wrap your mind around it. You can’t. You won’t. Not completely. The Father God – the Ancient of Days – His ways to our ways may be compare to a drop to an ocean. There is no comparison – the mass, the depth, and the movement between the two is vastly distinct; one clearly more powerful than the other. That’s our ways and God’s ways. He is God. And there is none like Him.

Jeremiah 17:14
“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”

God made this body. Mine. Yours. He is the Creator. He knows our heartbeat, He knows how many hairs are on our head, He knows the makeup of our skin. He knows. Why? Because He made.

So why is this?

Why do we always go to the doctor for colds, the medical center for meds, the pharmacy for drugs? Do they know our bodies to the depth and degree of the very Creator of our bodies?

God is the Great Physician. The Doctor. The Healer.

He knows. And He heals.

Ask Him. In Jesus name, pray for healing and strength and energy and recovery. Pray. Ask our Abba Daddy. And praise Him as He heals the bodies that He knows best; because after all, He did make and does know, every organ and every part.

1 John 4:19 (pool of love)

1 John 4:19
We love because he first loved us.

Love loved us…

…and we love because Love loved us.

I cannot get over this. Love and God cannot be separated because God is love and love is God. And when we love others…it’s like we give them a piece of God. If your relationship with God suffers, your ability to love with the pure love of God, suffers as well. I have found that the days it is hardest to love are often the days with little or no quality God time. You must first sit in the pool of love and soak it up, before  you can squeeze it into the lives of others. Soak up Love today. And wring it out into the hearts of many.

John 1:6 (insert your name)

“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.”

John 1:6

Insert your name in there.

“There was a man (or, woman) sent from God, whose name was (your name).

That’s crazy to me. God. God. Do we understand who this is? God. To think that He would choose me – you – and send us to carry His truth to others? To be used of God, to be sent by God…what an honor.
