“The irony is that while God doesn’t need us but still wants us, we desperately need God but don’t really want Him most of the time.”

–          Francis Chan

Why are you sitting in front of your screen, reading these words?

Why are you here?

We were made to love God and be loved by God and love others the way God loves us.

It’s all about love, isn’t it?

Because GOD is LOVE.

Starts there, continues there, ends there.

  1. I’m here in the land of “pink” because I liked your words from the first time I found them. And I still do! By the way, my story on Truck Driving has been picked up by a blog magazine that has a voice to a wide range of people. So far, I am the main Christian voice there. Any support people could give this cowboy would be appreciated. It’s at wordexpressweekly.wordpress.com This is a great chance for a Christian voice to have. I think God worked hard to create this portal for light, and would like to see it succeed.(Please conduct yourself as Jesus would, if you go there. Thanks!) And keep up the good work, composerofwords! (Your still on my blog roll!)

I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.
Blogging is very new for me therefore I didn’t know anything about these awards. It’s sharing personal thoughts with the outside world – maybe to inspirate and help others but also yourself. I think it’s a brilliant way to see that we are all human beings who often share the same passion or struggle with similar issues in our lives. Therefore I like your blogs and find them inspiring and want to nominate you for this award.
If you choose to accept the award, you’ll find the “instructions” linked here: http://lifeisyourpieceofart.wordpress.com/2012/05/17/very-inspiring-blogger-award/
    All the best,
    Dany 🙂

I love the quote!! So ironic and so true. Ohhh I wish we humans would just give up and give in to our Savior! He is SOOO worth it. He is the only one in the universe with 100% pure motives. It’s a good thing He’s the one in control. 😉

  5. Yes! Too bad it takes most of a lifetime to realize it for most people, if at all…
